The dismissal of the Energy Minister came a day after registration kicked off in Sierra Leone.

The registration will target over 3 million voters and the registration exercise will last for three months.
The 2012 voter registration will be done on biometric registration the first in the history of Sierra Leone.

Many people turned out to register on the first day, Monday.
The process has so far been smooth, without any major incident reported.

WADR’s Freetown correspondent says although the first day was very slow as people spend time in queues before they could be registered, the registrations went well.

But what do Sierra Leoneans think about the voter Registration process due to last for three months?

Muhammad Konneh has been gauging their views in Freetown.
