Ghana historic anti pneumonia, diarrhea vaccines

Ghana has become the first African country to  introduce pneumococcal and rotavirus vaccines in its national immunization programme.

The new vaccines are to fight pneumonia and diarrhea diseases, each of which accounts for about 10% of under-five deaths in the country.
