Nigerian plane carrying more than 150 crashes in Lagos

A Dana Air passenger plane on a flight from Abuja to Lagos has reportedly crashed into residential area of Iju-Ishaga Abgado area of Nigeria’s commercial capital, Lagos.

The country’s aviation authority which confirmed the crash said that the plane took off from Abuja at about 4:20 pm and had on board 153 passengers.

WADR’s Nigeria correspondent quotes reports as saying, there is no survivor yet, as rescue parties were promptly deployed to the area.

This is the first air crash to happen in the country in recent times.
